I was born in Japan on April 27th. My mother was raising me and my sister as a single mother. I have never met my father because he left when I was 2 and my mom would not talk about him at all to me or my older sister. My sister, Miku was 1 when I was born. Miku says she vaguely remembers my dad. Anyways, it was too much work for my mom to take care of both of us as a single working mother, so she sent one of us to an orphanage. That was me who went because I was the youngest in the family. I have not seen my sister since I was 3. I email with her a lot and she sent me a picture of her on her school picture day.

I miss her a lot! maybe we can meet one day. I can talk to her in Japanese and in English. Maybe I can send her one of the japanese cats if I can convince mom to get another one! Also, Jess is an american name. My real name is Akiko and my last name is Sakuri. I looked through a book that the people at the orphanage gave me called: First, Middle, And Last Names That Go With Each Other so I could pick a first name and a last name and I liked Jess Amber McConnell.
