My Story

I was born in Japan on April 27th. My mother was raising me and my sister as a single mother. I have never met my father because he left when I was 2 and my mom would not talk about him at all to me or my older sister. My sister, Miku was 1 when I was born. Miku says she vaguely remembers my dad. Anyways, it was too much work for my mom to take care of both of us as a single working mother, so she sent one of us to an orphanage. That was me who went because I was the youngest in the family. I have not seen my sister since I was 3. I email with her a lot and she sent me a picture of her on her school picture day.

I miss her a lot! maybe we can meet one day. I can talk to her in Japanese and in English. Maybe I can send her one of the japanese cats if I can convince mom to get another one! Also, Jess is an american name. My real name is Akiko and my last name is Sakuri. I looked through a book that the people at the orphanage gave me called: First, Middle, And Last Names That Go With Each Other so I could pick a first name and a last name and I liked Jess Amber McConnell. So that is that. Bye peeps!

My New Stuff!

Hey peeps! I got some new stuff today! I LOVE it!

It was a typical saturday afternoon, and me and Lanie were waitng for mom to get home from her shopping spree, knowing since she is so nice, that she would get us something.

And she did! I got the japanese cat on the left, which is so adorable! Lanie got the more modern looking light blue koala.

I am going to name my cat Miku, after my sister, who you will learn more about in my next post.

We also got new cellphones! Yay! Mine is the epic tye-die one!

You can not really tell, but my old blue phone was very worn out and old!

You can not tell either in this picture, but Lanie's old yellow phone is also really old.

This was not for me, but Lanie was dying for Claire's new neon eyeshadow set! So mom picked that up as well.

My Birthday!

My birthday was on a Saturday, and this is what happened when I woke up in the morning...

 I got up, really happy knowing it was my birthday and that there would be presents at the kitchen table...  



I climb down from the top bunk...

 I quickly get dressed...

 OMG!! There are soo many presents and they are all for me!!!

Ahh! It is all technology!

First off, I got a DS lite!

I have Mario Kart to play on it too! I have allways wanted this game!

I also got an Itouch!!! Woo Hoo!

Now I can use this camera to take pictures and make videos!!

I saved the best for last! I got a laptop! YAY!! Best B-Day ever!!

Room Tour Pt.2

Hey peeps! I will show you the next part of Lanie and me's room!

This is next to our bunk beds. It is our slippers. Mine are the blue ones, Lanie's are green.

This looks wierd, I know. It is under our beds.  There is our hairbrush on the left, and our tote bag from Florida mom brought us when we were little on the right.

Lanie has the bottom bunk. She has a shelf to keep more things in. It has her Cammomile tea, her giraffe figurine, her lucky shell, her journal, her glasses should have been on the journal, but she was wearing them, her candle, and her snowman figurine she got for Hanukkah.

 This is Lanie's bed. It has her orangutan Fio, and her bunny Lulu chilling in the corner of her bed.

This is her L that mom made that is taped onto the front of her bed. I have a J but you will see that later.

That is her school bag and also her laptop bag.

This is my bed. I do not have a shelf but once mom gets another mini doll, I will get one. I have my stuffed monkey Toshi though.

That is my school bag. It can not hold my laptop, but I can carry it. It is not heavy at all.

This is my J on the front of my bed that mom made for me.

My Room Tour Pt.1

Hey peeps! Jess here again! I guess you should see what my room looks like. I share a room with Lanie and she is so much better than Molly! I had to share a room with Molly before and she complained about every little thing!

This is in the corner of the room near Lanie's desk. She has her rainboots that are hers, and hers only. If you touch them, she will chase you untill you get tired and by then, she still will be full of energy. She is a fast runner and very athletic, Her time to run the mile was 5 minutes and 20 seconds. She is even faster than the boys. Her garbage can is there too.

This is the top of Lanie's desk. She has sticky notes, her cellphone, her laptop, her little cup with a pair of scissors, a pencil, and a pen, a can of V8, and her cow figurine.

This is the inside of the top drawer of Lanie's desk. It is the place with things like books and schools supplies, band-aids, her bunny Lulu's harness, her kindle, playing cards, colored pencils, sharpeners, tape, glue, her camera, a calculator, and more!

 This is Lanie's makeup drawer. It does not have much makeup, but it has some. It had nail polish, lip gloss, silly bands, a bracelet, hand/face cream, contact case, and contact solution.

This is Lanie's clothing drawer. It has 3 things in it that nobody but her can touch/wear. The same thing will happen with the rainboots if you do touch/wear it. It has her meet dress, her nightgown, and her gardening hat.

This is the top of my desk. As you can see, it is pushed next to Lanie's desk so I do not have anything beside it on the left, but on the right is me and Lanie's bunk beds. On the top is my tissue box (I have bad allergies), my laptop, my water bottle, and my cellphone.

This is the first drawer. It also has school supplies and books. My desk setup is the same as Lanie's. I have random things all messed around. I am not a neat person but Lanie is. I have human-sized tape because mom seems to always need it for us so she decided to put it in my drawers. I have things in there like sticky notes, my favorite toy, my Luigi pullback racer (I want my own DS and Mario Kart so bad! Luigi is my favorite character!), my Belize travel guide I got on the plane ride there, my blue elephant squinkie, my camera, and my passport, my notebook and my lucky pen.

This is my makeup drawer. I also do not have a lot because I am not as obsessed with makeup as Molly and Kanani. I have hair ties, nail polish, cream, perfume, lip gloss, and my secret bottle of Hershey's syrup that me and Lanie share sometimes.(Ooh! Sneaky Jess! ;D)

And this is the drawer that has my clothes that nobody can touch exept me. But it only contains my PJ's, and I am wearing them because I stayed home from school today because my allergies were so bad. :(
